I'm not sure how to express my gratitude and love of WorthyAF but I'll give it a try.

Moving my body in this space is something I look forward to week after week. Not only have I had the chance to try so many different things from Bollywood to Musical Theater to High/Low and so much more. It gives you the chance to try something without the commitment of multiple sessions, just in case it's not for you. However I can almost guarantee that once you give it a try you'll come back over and over and over. Besides the multiple different classes offered in one location, the most wonderful thing about this space / community is that it is a judgement free zone filled with wonderful ladies and is a safe place for all ages, all body types and all skill levels. All of the instructors will show variations of the moves so that you can do what feels comfortable for you. The only requirement - HAVE FUN! (We definitely do).

As someone that was fairly new to the city when this community started it has pushed me out of my comfort zone in the best possible way and allowed me the chance to meet so many wonderful ladies. When asked what my favorite classes have been it was SO HARD to pick because there have been so many and often for different reasons. The dance type classes play to my love of music and my past involvement in musical theater. High/Low reminds me of my love of aerobics. Pound and kickboxing help me to release stress and frustrations. Like I said, I can't pick a favorite! No matter what the class I always leave with a smile on my face.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. What can I say other than “I LOVE WorthyAF!”

This is a space I cherish so much and look forward to every week and every class. Tyneal has created such a special and safe space and it has literally saved me though the toughest parts of this pandemic that we have all be struggling through.

Before the pandemic, I was a very social person. I was always out and about. I had many circles of friends. I went to the gym. I always had plans and was always busy. Then then Covid hit, and I was suddenly so isolated. Being single and living alone and only be allowed to see 2 people took a toll on me.

Worthy AF for me was the beam of light in the darkness that brought back a social life. It got me moving again. I was able to see other women like me in the same room all ready to try something new and have a blast while doing it. I love that the Worthy AF space is so inclusive and body positive! It’s for all bodies and all abilities! I finally felt like I belonged. The community is so encouraging. I have never considered myself a dancer, but with the hype this space brings, it makes feel like I could be one. Even it it’s only for an hour.

I love every single class. It is always a blast and I always have so many laughs. I love that there is a range of classes and always something new to try! My favourite classes are usually the dance ones. Sam’s Musical and TikTok classes, as well as Monica’s BOLLYWOOD dance are some of my highlights! I love being able to post my dances on social media showing others that you don’t have to be perfect to have fun and dance. My second favourite class has got to be Pam’s POUND fitness class. It’s a great workout and I ALWAYS feel better after one of her classes. You literally pound out your stresses!

If you haven’t had the chance to join a class or if you are nervous about meeting new people or trying new things, I’m telling now that THIS is the time to book! I promise you are in the safest and friendliest space possible, and I can’t wait to see you there!

As most busy moms will say, my self-care is usually last on my list of things to do. So when I was invited to a High/Lo class with my incredible friend, Caitlin, at a body-positive studio, I was reluctant to go and meet new people … let alone move my body around them. To my surprise, what I found wasn’t just an opportunity to take care of myself physically, but a safe space where I could take care of my mental health as well.

Every week that I can make a class I leave with joy and happiness in my heart. Bollywood, Self-Defence, Disney, Burlesque, Pound and High/Lo are just some of my favourites. I’ve tried so many incredible classes that I would have NEVER signed up for and it is because the community is just beaming with positivity, support and love. We have fun, we move our bodies however we can, and we laugh.

I truly believe that I was meant to find Worthy AF and I hope to meet so many more wonderful women to make new memories with. Plus, we eat cookies, and who doesn’t like a post-workout cookie?

I joined WorthyAF hoping to find fun ways to move my body!! It has been that and so much more. Everyone is so welcoming and kind. It truly is a place for All Bodies and All abilities. I have a disability and the instructors always show adaptive ways to do the work outs. I never feel judged or out of place. It's been hard to find a place where I feel like I belong and not feel intimidated. Right from the very first class it was clear that this was a safe space to just be myself and have fun! If you've been thinking about doing something for yourself, do this. Come have fun and dance and laugh!

Worthy AF is just like the name says I have never been to a place where when walking in the door you feel like you belong and are WorthyAF. This community that Tyneal has built is warm, welcoming and most of all fun. Whoever would have thought to say exercise and fun in the same sentence but worthy is definitely that. My daughter and I wanted to find a space that we could go together, move our bodies and meet new people. After following Worthy AF for a few months, when the restrictions lifted, and we were able to go to a class we ventured into our first class and WE WERE HOOKED. Every week we look forward to the variety of classes that are offered. There is everything you could imagine TIK TOK, belly dancing, high low, kickboxing and POI to name a few. The instructors are fabulous and are always are willing to provide adjustments, so you never feel you are unable to participate fully. If you are on the fence jump off because this community is definitely one you want to be part of!!!!
